Doctor's Day July 1, 2025

We celebrated Doctor's Day 🩺🥼💉 at CTIS today with a special activity that brought together students from Pre-KG to Grade 12. The event was a wonderful opportunity for our students to express their gratitude to the medical profession and to be inspired by the selfless work of doctors. The activity aimed to motivate and inspire our students to consider a future career in medicine. We hope that this event will spark a passion in some of our students to become the doctors of tomorrow.

CHESS TOURNAMENT

Student's Council Members Induction ceremony

We are delighted to inform you that the Student's Council Members Induction ceremony was held today. We were honored to have Mr. P. Vengadesan, Block Development Officer, Ponnamaravathi, as our Chief Guest. Mr. Vengadesan inspired our Student Council members and Class Monitors for the Academic year 2025-2026, emphasizing the importance of dedication and sincerity in their roles. His words of encouragement motivated our students to take on their responsibilities with enthusiasm. The students were thrilled to have the installation ceremony officiated by our esteemed Chief Guest. We are grateful for his presence and support.

TNPL 2025

We are thrilled to share that our students had an exciting opportunity to watch the Chepak Super Gillies vs. Madurai Panthers TNPL match 🏏🏏🏏 at NPR College, Natham. Students from Grades 4-12 attended the match and had a fantastic time cheering on their favorite teams.

YOGA DAY 2025

"Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of body, mind, and soul." We celebrated Yoga Day🧘‍♀️🧘🏻🧘‍♂️ with great enthusiasm! Our students participated in various yoga exercises, meditation, and deep breathing activities to strengthen their mind and body. This special day was a remarkable experience for our students, teaching them the value of mindfulness and well-being.

INDEPENDENCE DAY, 2024

We are delighted to announce that our school will be celebrating the 78th Independence Day on Thursday, 15th August, 2024. We are honored to have Mr. S. Pandithurai, President of the Rotary Club of Madurai Metropolis, as our chief guest. The celebration will feature special events, medal distribution, and other exciting activities. To ensure convenient transportation for our local students, we have arranged bus services at the following locations and times: - VST shed: 7:35 am - Bus stand: 7:35 am - Pattamarathaan Kovil: 7:40 am - Nattukkal and respective stops: 7:40 am - School: 7:50 am Please note that the buses will return at 10:30 am, and parents can pick up their ward's at their respective stops. Important reminders: - Students can bring breakfast to school. - Students should wear their Yoga Uniform. - Students not using the school bus are welcome to come with their parents.

7th BOOK FAIR,2024

our students from Grades 4 to 11 had the opportunity to visit the 7th Book Fair Festival in Pudukkottai. The trip was a resounding success, with students benefiting from: - Inspiring speeches from renowned book authors - Time to browse and purchase books that interest them - A thought-provoking speech by our own student, Sri Ram from Grade 10, on the importance of reading - A screening of the "Earth First Rider" video, which added an extra layer of educational value to the trip We're thrilled that our students made the most of this trip and used it as a valuable learning experience.

TNPL MATCH,2024

We are excited to inform you that today our school students had the amazing opportunity to witness the thrilling TNPL match between Salem Spartans and Lyca Kovai Kings 🏏🏏🏏 at the NPR College in Natham. Our students thoroughly enjoyed their time at the cricket stadium. During the match, our students had the chance to interact with the IPL anchor 🎤🎤 Mr. Muthu, who interviewed them and captured some fantastic photographs. Additionally, the students excitedly played the band set 🥁🥁🪈🎺 at the stadium. It was a truly remarkable and beautiful moment for our students. Our students loved every moment of the trip and served as great motivators for the players in the stadium. We would like to express our gratitude to the TNPL team for providing our school students such a wonderful opportunity. This experience has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on our students.

LITERATURE WORKSHOP,2024

We had a literature workshop at our school today for students from grades 8 to 11. The Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Ayush Keshri, CEO of Human Library Cafe , Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He delivered the workshop flawlessly, and he used storytelling to impart wise counsel to the students. He also urged the pupils to use drawings to illustrate their stories. Students engaged the guest in conversation and exchanged opinions. The fact that our guest encouraged our pupils to compose their own stories about being on time and being approachable made them even more impressed. Thank you

DOCTORS DAY 2024

We are delighted to inform you that today we celebrated Doctor's Day in our school. We were honored to have Dr. Chandran MBBS., MD as our chief guest for the event. We inaugurated the NEET / IIT Foundation Course . The students and parents from Grades 8 to 10 participated in the event, and it was a great success. To welcome our esteemed guest, we had a band performance and Poorna kumbam ceremony. The students were thrilled to receive NEET books from Dr. Chandran himself. We believe that this foundation course will help our students in their preparation for NEET and IIT exams. And he distributed Chess competition certificates to the students. We wish all the participating students the best of luck for their future endeavours .

YOGA DAY JUNE21,2024

Yoga is not just a physical exercise; it promotes a happy soul, a fresh mind, and a healthy body. It is a holistic approach to wellness that fosters mental and physical well-being. Today, our school organized a yoga session for all our students, creating a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere for them to immerse themselves in the practice. We were fortunate to have a skilled and experienced yoga master lead the session. The master guided our students through various yoga poses and breathing exercises, helping them reap the benefits of this ancient practice. Our students actively participated, showing great enthusiasm and dedication to perfecting their techniques. We are also pleased to inform you that some of our students have shown exceptional talent and dedication to yoga. As a result, they will be upgrading to an advanced level and will soon be participating in an international yoga competition. We believe that this is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and represent our school on a global platform.

Field Trip

Our CTians were given the opportunity to participate in the field work and learn about the process of growing crops. Mr. Ganesan and Mrs. Vasantha, two highly experienced farmers who were recently awarded by the Chief Minister for their exceptional work in the field of paddy cultivation, graciously host our students. They patiently explained various harvesting processes and provided valuable insights and knowledge about the agriculture industry. Our students were able to witness first-hand the hard work and dedication that goes into cultivating crops. The field trip not only equipped our students with knowledge about the farming process but also instilled in them a deep appreciation for the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. The experience was both educational and eye-opening for Students.

Field Trip

Our students had got a wonderful and memorable experience during the Chandrayaan-3 special view program held in *Madurai, Pandian Hotel* Meeting the esteemed scientist Sivasubramanian Sir must have been truly inspiring and motivational. It's always a proud moment to appreciate the achievements of our own country and feel a sense of national pride. The highlight of the program was the opportunity to meet the renowned scientist Sivasubramanian Sir. His presence was truly inspiring and motivational for all of us. Hearing his words of wisdom and learning about his remarkable achievements made us proud to be Indians. We hope that this interaction has ignited a spark of curiosity and enthusiasm for space exploration in our students. Another exciting aspect of the program was the telescope view. This unique experience allowed our students to observe celestial bodies and gain a deeper understanding of the universe. They were thrilled to engage with scientists and even had the chance to have their photographs taken. These interactions not only enhanced their knowledge but also allowed them to witness the real-life impact of science and technology.

Field Trip

*CTians from Grade 6 to Grade 9 visited SBI Bank 🏦, Ponnamaravathy Branch* *Mr. Senthil Rajan, the Branch Manager*, delivered a lecture on various financial concepts, such as budgeting, saving, credit, investment, and online banking platforms. The visit concluded with an engaging question and answer session, our students had the opportunity to clarify any doubts or concerns with the bank representatives. The students were impressed by the ease of use and security measures implemented, which further highlighted the bank's commitment to safeguarding its customers' financial well-being.

Field Trip

Our CT International School students from Grade 4 to 9 and Grade 11 had the opportunity to participate in the 6th Book Fair held in Pudukottai. During the fair, our students had the privilege to interact with scientist Dr. Rajkumar and engage in discussions about Science and Technology. They also had the chance to visit a planetarium where they gained more knowledge about "The Earth's First Ride". Furthermore, our students visited numerous book stalls at the fair and they were excited to purchase a lot of books. This experience provided them with a unique learning opportunity.

Field Trip

*Field Trip to NPR College Ground, Natham, to celebrate International Picnic Day*, On 21st June, 2023, students from Grade VI to Grade XI went on a picnic to NPR College Grounds, Natham. At the NPR College Grounds? Chepauk Super Gillies, and Dindigul Dragons faced each other in the 11th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023. Students had the incredible oppurtunity to watch a live cricket match, which heretofore was watched by majority only on television. The students were genuinely cheering players from both the teams. The atmosphere was electrifying! It was 5–6 hours of nonstop cheering, Mexican waves, and incredible fun.

Mathematics Day Celebration

The students and teachers of CT International School celebrated National Mathematics Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. Various fun activities were organised for the students of classes I to IX. Class I enjoyed doing ‘Connect the Dots’, Class II made beautiful ‘Math Art’ with different shapes, Class III crafted ‘House of Multiplication’. Class IV students were engaged in ‘The Factor Tree - Layout of Happiness’ and Class V did ‘Roman Numeral Clock’. Class VI students had fun by playing the ‘Spiral Board Game’. Class VII played ‘Diagonal Move’ with full enthusiasm. Class VIII pupils surprised everyone by telling the day of any date ‘Weekday Calculator’ and the girls enthusiastically performed ‘Math Dance’. Class IX students played a ‘Skit’ on Srinivasa Ramanujan. The day was celebrated with the aim to make people aware of the importance of mathematics, the contributions made by Srinivasa Ramanujan, advancements and developments made in the field of mathematics.

Children's Day Celebration

Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.” Children’s Day was celebrated with vigour and enthusiasm by the management and teachers of CT International School today, 14th November to make it a Joyful day for our Children. The teachers made the occasion grand by decorating the Entrance of the School and the Classrooms. The children were welcomed happily with a special assembly. The highlight of the Day was the fun-filled activities organised by the teachers for the children. The campus was lit with enthusiasm pouring out from the children, their parents and grandparents as various games like straw beats, treasure hunt, hand printing, balloon blowing cups,musical chair, lucky corner and ball catching were organised. Best performers in every game were awarded with prizes. It was indeed a delight to see the children with wide smiles and gleaming eyes. Their day was made n their hearts were full!!

Field Trip

Our CT International school students from Grades 5 to 10, participated in the 5th Book Fair held in Pudukottai. Our students had the opportunity to interact with Madura College scientist Dr. Dinakaran. Students visited planetarium and they gathered more knowledge about "The Earth's First Ride". Additionally, students visited hundreds of book stalls and they were eager to purchase a lot of books.This field trip gave our students a truly unique learning opportunity. "Feedback" - G.S Nehaa Grade 10 , As a field trip, we went to a book fair which was held in pudukkottai. The first session was a general meeting with all students from various schools and we had some fun activities. After that, a scientist named Dinakaran who researches about insects spoke to us about science researches , discoveries and more. He gave a differentiation between discovery - invention- and innovation.After that we went to a Planetarium. There we watched 3D video in the title of "The Earth's first ride". Next, we went to book fair. There were more than 100 's of book stalls. I bought some books. It was really a great opportunity for me to explore and gather knowledge about these things. I really enjoyed the field trip and learnt a lot.

International Father's Day

“The quality of a father can be seen in the goals, dreams and aspirations he sets not only for himself, but for his family” – Reed Markham The teachers and students of our CT International School celebrated Father’s Day with a lot of enthusiasm. Being the first event after the summer break, every student was dedicated in honouring their father, one of the most valuable person in their life.To celebrate fatherhood, Teacher’s conducted various activities on the theme Father’s Day with their students. As a preparation for International Father’s Day which is celebrated worldwide on the third Sunday of June, students got their hands on to curate the perfect gift for their dear dad. The whole event truly portrayed the influence of fathers on the child in particular and the society in general.

Story of a kidpreneur

Members of young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an online session on “ STORY OF A KIDPRENEUR” by Vinusha MK. Our students from Grade 6 to 9 got the opportunity to participate in this session on January 29th,2022. Students were engrossed in the session. Many developed a fascination for baking after it.

Masoom

Members of Young Indians (Yi), a part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), organized an awareness programme on understanding and preventing child abuse on 18th September 2021. Titled ‘Masoom’, the nation-wide initiative aims at spreading awareness of child sexual abuse, teach children about safe touch and unsafe touch and sensitise teachers. Speaker explained the importance of establishing a circle of trust and safe space for children. A human chain was formed with students depicting the words “No Go Tell” — say ‘no’ to unsafe touch, ‘go’ to any trustworthy person immediately in such situations, and ‘tell’ or report the incident to a trustworthy person. Also, the students were made aware of ChildLine 1098 number. The session was organized by Masoom team members of Yi Madurai Chapter Project and was presided by Ms. Karthika devi, Block Educational Officer.

The story of waterprenuer

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an Online session on “The story of waterprenuer” by Mr.Chandrasekran. Our Students from Grade 6 to 9 got the opportunity to participate in this session on September 4th, 2021. The Speaker listed out the enormous projects that he had initiated and shared in detail about the inspiration behind each project, his constant efforts and the many rejections he had. This session has truly lit the scientific spirit and practical insight in our students.

Gender Equality And Sensitivity

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an Online session on “Gender Equality And Sensitivity” by Ms.Vidya Ragu, Founder Himalayacalling &skillsgurucool. On the 28th of August 2021, 19 students from G6 to G9 enthusiastically attended the zoom session. This session helped our students to examine their personal attitudes and beliefs and question the 'realities’. The speaker emphasized on the "Propensity to behave in a manner which is sensitive to gender justice and gender equality issues".

DO YOU KNOW WHY I BEHAVE SO?

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an Online session on “ DO YOU KNOW WHY I BEHAVE SO? ” by Mr. Mahesh Subramanian , Wildlife Photographer. From Grade 6 to 9, Totally 15 students participated in the Zoom meeting on 19th August 2021. Our students were fully engaged in the session. They were motivated by the speakers humility. Students also understood from the speakers experience that sometimes the best moments are not captured in the lens but in ones memory.

 Em-pa-thy

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an Online session on “ Em-pa-thy ” by Mrs.Muhil, Psychologist. Around 19 students from G6 to G9 attended the zoom session enthusiastically on 14th August, 2021. From the session our students got the ability to recognize and relate to other people’s emotions and thoughts and also how to understand them without judgement.

TALK WITH KIDPRENEUR

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiative had organized an Online session on “ Talk with kidpreneur ” by Arnay Agarwal, Reading Rhino. Our Students from Grade 3 to 8 got the opportunity to participate in this zoom session on July 29th, 2021. All the Students found the session inspiring!! They realized how reading books from an young age has helped him to achieve what he has Achieved today. We can be in any corner of the world but a small book is enough to get us started to Know more and Do more! Students felt encouraged to read everyday!!

U TOO CAN BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR

Young Indian (Yi) Madurai chapter in association with Thalir initiated an Online Session on “ U TOO CAN BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR ” by Mr. Raajveernath & Mr. Vedanthnath , Cofounder of worldyouthmedia.in On July 10th 2021, 14 students from grade 6 to 9 excitedly participated in this zoom session. The inquisitive minds were propelled by the words “ Don’t be lazy to explore your talent ”that was shared by the speakers. Students collected invaluable knowledge as well as experience on how one can start young and achieve too.

International Plastic Bag Free Day

International Plastic Bag Free Day, celebrated on July 3, is a global initiative that aims to eliminate the use of plastic bags. Plastic bags may seem like a grocery shopping convenience, but they are also a huge strain on the environment. It can take up to 500 years for plastic bags to disintegrate, so they make up a large portion of what stays in our landfills and pollutes our waterways. Our School students not only involved themselves actively but also inspired the people at their home and neighbourhood to participate in Plastic Free and refuse to use single-use plastic. Together, they decided to make small changes and follow the 4R's "Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" principle to make a difference.

YOGA FOR RESILIENCE TO STRESS

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai Chapter in association with Thalir Initiative had organized an Online Session on YOGA FOR RESILIENCE TO STRESS AND HOLISTIC WELL- BEING by Mr.J.H. Gouse Basha,*Fitness Consultant. As the doyen of the Yi Madurai Chapter, Our Founder Sir made it possible for Our CT International School, Kesarapatti, Students to participate and enriched from this Zoom Session on 3rd July 2021. Students from G5 to G9 (No. Of participants: 37) attended the session. The breathing exercises and relaxation techniques learned during the session helped our students to reduce their anxiety and stress. They realized how important practising Yoga is to improve concentration and memory. Our students also asked the resource person for some eye exercises that they can do in between their everyday online sessions. It was truly an empowering session for the students.

EXPLORE BEYOND WORLD

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai Chapter in association with Thalir Initiative had organized an Online Session on EXPLORE BEYOND WORLD by Ms. Sagarikka Sivakumar, Growth Ignitor. Around 25 Students from G6 to G9 attended the zoom session enthusiastically on 26th June, 2021. The curious minds were inspired by the motto “ Choose not to run in the race , but create your space” that was shared by the speaker. The session definitely set a spark in our students to learn more beyond the four walls of a classroom.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day is an annual event that has its roots in an Indian context, and is commemorated every year on 21st June. Yoga Day is about integrating body, mind and soul, as yoga is an ancient Indian tradition combining bodily agility with mental relaxation techniques. This year, the theme being 'Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family'. Our CT International School, Kesarapatti, Students from G3 to G9 participated by doing yoga with their siblings. They recorded and posted the videos in the school physical training group.

 WORD-O-LOGY

Event Young Indians (Yi) Madurai Chapter in association with Yi Trivandrum Chapter had organized an Online Session on WORD-O-LOGY by Ms. Sheetal Gandhi, International coach. Our CT International School, Kesarapatti, Students participated and enriched from this Zoom Session on 19 th June 2021 by the opportunity provided by our Founder Sir, an active member in the Madurai Chapter. Students from G5 to G9 (No. Of participants: 33) attended the session. The session provided numerous activities that got our students hooked to the session for more than an hour. Just this one session, set the spark in our students on the importance of how, why and when to use the “Dictionary”. Students got an active and deep understanding of a rich vocabulary knowledge and requested for similar sessions in the future.

Self-Defence for school

Young Indians (Yi) Madurai Chapter in association with Yi Trivandrum Chapter had organized an Online Session on Self-Defence for school students with Kalari Art by Dr. S. Mahesh, Agasthiyam International Kalari. As the doyen of the Yi Madurai Chapter, Our Founder Sir made it possible for Our CT International School, Kesarapatti, Students to participate and enrich from this Zoom Session on 15th June 2021. Our Middle and High School Students (No. Of participants: 23) from G7, G8 and G9 attended the session. The session provided numerous benefits about the Art of Kalari, giving the foundations for fitness and self-protection in the current times. The Kalarippayatt artists had our Students enthralled with their excellent performance and provided a better understanding of body alignment, improved reflexes, greater balance, higher flexibility, and increased strength.
